The National Migration Institute (IMN) has updated Mexican immigration fees for 2022. Below we have translated 2022’s fees for your convenience. Remember that some immigration procedures incur two fees, and others, just one. That is, the paperwork can have a cost, as can the issue of a document. Therefore, check at your local immigration office or with your facilitator, just in case.

Documentation

Immigration procedures usually ask for official documentation, photos and proof of identity. Therefore, make sure to prepare well in advance. Indeed, documents may require translation or apostillization. If you apply from outside Mexico, this blog might also help: Documents you need to bring with you when you move to Mexico.

Finally, check our articles on permanent and temporary residency, and regularization for more advice.

At Immigration to Mexico, we guide you through every step of the process. We make your immigration journey as easy and stress-free as possible.
